Ordination Update
Family and Friends:
We write to thank you for your love, prayer and support as Layne has pursued ordination for the last number of years... and years... and years :-). Noelle says: 'Daddy you're old; you're almost 40!'
We're grateful for God's faithfulness in the fun and challenges. And, we're especially grateful for how God's sustained us over the years through our friendships with each of you.
A big day is almost here: we're preparing for an ordination service and celebration here in Walnut Creek Oct 19 (the same day as Noelle's 7th Birthday)!
Please pray for Layne in the final preparations: write and submit two sermons, preach another sermon in the presence of classical evaluators (regional church reps), be grilled (interviewed :-) at a classis interview Oct 7.
Let us know if you'd an join us here for this and Noelle's B-day! We can't provide accommodation, but Walnut Creek and the SF area are great places to visit,
